The history alarm viewer shows the status of alarms generated through external device monitoring / internal variable monitoring in a table.

(1) Alarm file path

The history alarm file refers to a file that sequentially records alarms that have occurred. This file is a file that records alarms generated in [Global Event/Screen Event > External Device Monitoring/Modification Monitoring] and cannot be recorded arbitrarily by other methods. The format of this file is not open to the public, and the contents can be inquired only with the history alarm indicator, and the extension must be *.alm.

(2) Object symbol designation

When processing an action for a history alarm (for example, confirming a specific alarm or deleting an alarm) externally, if there are multiple history alarm indicators on one screen at the same time, distinguish which history alarm display is being processed. This is the symbol specified for

• (1) font : Specifies the font to be used inside the history alarm indicator.
• (2) scroll designation : Determines whether to enable scrolling when rows are too large to fit the screen.
• (3) with border : Determines whether to shade the edges or not.

• (1) Various colors for different states : Designate the text color and background color according to various statuses according to the status of the alarm.

• (2) Full color : Initialize or copy/paste all color settings. Copy/Paste is a function that can be used when you want to transfer the same color settings to other history alarm indicators.

• (1) Edit column list : Define the details and order of each column of the indicator. The 'Hide' button will remove the column from the list and you can add it again later. If there is something you want to display specially through 'User Column', you can add it by making it into a column.

• (2) hidden columns : Anything you delete from a column can be stored here for future use.

• (3) Initialization : Initializes the column to its default state.

In order to actually add an alarm line to the history alarm display, it is necessary to set in advance which alarm occurs in which case.

In the 'external device monitoring' or 'expression monitoring' event, you can set the conditions and details to generate an alarm. (Events and Actions>Global Events or Screen Events)

Generating an alarm means adding the contents of the alarm to the end of the *.alm file. (The format of the file to be added is private.)

• (1) Determines whether to generate a history alarm when the corresponding condition is entered.

• (2) Decide whether to generate an alarm after executing the actions for the condition or before executing them.

• (3) When the size of the alarm file (*.alm) increases, the old part (the front part of the file) is automatically deleted.

• (4) Management of alarm lists to generate : Defines which alarms to trigger when the condition is entered. Alarms can be generated for multiple files when one condition occurs.

• (5) Designate the file path to generate an alarm. The same path must be specified in the history alarm indicator as well.

• (6) Alarm message : Designates the content of the alarm message to be displayed on the history alarm display.

• (7) User column record (advanced function) : In addition to the contents of the alarm message, add the contents that the user wants to display specially. In order to display this content in a column, a user column must be prepared in advance in the column settings of the history alarm indicator (key values must match).
