1. Turn off the panel PC
2. Open the RTC battery compartment on the rear of the panel PC.
3. Set DIP switches inside the battery compartment both to the OFF position.
4. Connect the panel PC's USB DEVICE port to a Windows PC.
5. Turn on the panel PC. Check the Windows PC's Device Manager and verify that the panel PC is enumerated as “Telechips TCC893x VTC USB Driver”. If it is not, install the driver.
6. Run the FWDN_V7_v2.30.exe utility
7. On the “Default” tab, drag the tcboot.rom and nk_comp.rom files to the file list.
8. Be sure the “Default download” option is selected in the bottom right dropdown list.
9. Press the “Start” button and wait for it to complete.
10. Turn off the panel PC, set the DIP switches to all ON, and then power on the panel PC again.

The following video provides a demonstration of the above process for the CUWIN CWR, but the process is the same for the CHC. Just be sure to use the CHC OS image files instead.
