Windows Mobile Device Center (Windows 7,8,10,11)

For Windows 7 and later, Windows Mobile Device Center has replaced ActiveSync. If it is not already installed, it should be installed automatically when the ComfileHMI hardware is first connected to the host PC (See this video for a demonstration).

If Windows Mobile Device Center does not install automatically, it can be downloaded from the following link and installed manually.

Download Windows Mobile Device Center (64-bit)
Download Windows Mobile Device Center (32-bit)

When the ComfileHMI panel PC is first connected to the host PC via USB, the following window should appear.

After the device drivers and Windows Mobile Device Center are installed, Windows Mobile Device Center should start automatically as illustrated below. Select the “Connect without setting up your device” option.

Finally, the following window should appear.

After a connection is successfully established, there is no need to make any changes to Windows Mobile Device Center, or use Windows Mobile Device Center directly. All operations related to the ComfileHMI hardware can be done through Comfile Studio.

IMPORTANT: If you any issue using Windows Mobile Device Center with Windows 10/11 and the ComfileHMI panel PC, please see this blog post for a potential solution.
