The IntelliLCD is a specialized firmware created by COMFILE Technology to make the CUWIN operate as a serial display.

1. Download the IntelliLCD firmware from http://www.comfiletech.com/pages/support.html Legacy Products field.
2. Extract the file to your PC.
3. Navigate to the extracted location and open the “Firmware” folder. Inside you will find a *.dat file.
4. Create a “\Flash Disk\AutoRun” folder on the CUWIN.
5. Copy the *.dat file to the AutoRun folder.
6. Rename the “dat” file extension to “exe”.
7. Create a file named “UserConfig.ini” with the following contents. Change the BaudRate option to 1, 2, 3, or 4 corresponding to 9600, 19200, 38400, and 115200 respectively.

8. Copy the “UserConfig.ini” file to the CUWIN's “\Flash Disk” folder
9. On the right side of the CUWIN, locate the 6-position dip switch, and set it to enable “Auto Run” mode.
   1. 5000/6000/CWA Series: 1-On, 2-On, the rest Off
   2. CWV Series: 2-On, the rest Off
10. Reboot the CUWIN it will start in IntelliLCD mode.
