The jImageButton control is identical to the jbutton control, but uses images in the PressedAppearance and ReleasedAppearance to describe its appearance.

The PressedAppearance property describes the appearance of the jButton when it is pressed, and the ReleasedAppearance property describes the appearance of the jButton when it is not pressed. Contrary to the jButton control, images files are used to specify the appearance.
