System Configuration

• Can be mounted on a DIN rail (channel)
• Two separate power supplies are used: 'PWR IN' main operating power (5V / 5A) and 'DC24V' power supply for CFNET I/O expansion modules
• Supports CFNET I/O expansion modules
• Based on Raspberry Pi 5
• Up to 16 modules can be added to the system. This limit is determined by the current capacity that the CPU module can handle.

The CPU module is located on the left, and the required modules can be added on the right to configure the system.

• When using multiple modules of the same type, each module must be assigned a different address.

Digital output modules (DO modules) share the same address space. Therefore, care must be taken to avoid address conflicts.

• DO : CFDO-16N, CFDO-8R, CFDO-64N

• The PWR IN (main operating power) terminal of the Modular Pi must use the official Raspberry Pi power adapter (5V / 5A).
• The DC24V terminal of the Modular Pi is used to supply power to CFNET I/O expansion modules and is separate from the PWR IN (main operating power).
• The capacity of the DC24V power supply for CFNET I/O expansion modules must be selected according to the system configuration. A larger power supply is required as the number of I/O modules increases.
• If fewer than 5 modules are used, a 24VDC 1A power supply is recommended. If all 16 modules are used, a 24VDC 3A power supply is recommended.
• The power supply for I/O must be separate from the CPU module power supply.
• When installing the system, ensure sufficient distance and shielding from equipment that may generate radiated noise (such as inverters, AC motors, crane equipment, welding equipment, etc.).
