The CFNET Header(CFHDR-8U) is a USB interface module that provides a USB device interface to the CFNET IO modules. It can be used to add programmable digital and analog IO to any USB Windows or Linux host PC including our Windows Panel PC and Linux industrial panel PCs.

No driver installation is required, and there is no need to hassle with baud rates, parity, or worry about whether to cross TX and RX conductors. Once connected via USB, whether on Windows or Linux, the CFHEADER is immediately ready to use.

The CFHEADER can be programmed using any one of the following APIs:

• C# .NET API - Use C# or VB.NET and the latest versions of Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code to automate one or more CFHEADER and its IO modules
• File System API (cfnet-fs) - Use any programming language (Python, C, Java, Bash, etc.) or tool (Codesys, Node-RED, etc.) capable of reading from or writing to files to automate one or more CFHEADER and its IO modules.

• CFHDR-8U Features - Describes the various features of the CFNET HEADER module.
• Connecting to a USB Host - Describes how to connect the CFHDR-8U module to a Windows or Linux USB host.
• Setting Up a Runtime Environment - Describes how to configure a target computer to deploy a CFHDR-8U .NET application to.
• Install the CFHDR-8U's Firmware - Describes how to download and install the CFHDR-8U module's firmware.
