Engineers often recommend adding several components to the power input of a device to reduce electrical noise (EMI).
The circuit can look a bit intimidating, especially if you're not familiar with electronics.
Fortunately, there is an easier way.
A noise filter already contains most of the components needed for this job. Instead of building the entire circuit yourself, you can simply install a noise filter at the power input.
In many cases, that's all it takes to significantly reduce noise coming in through the power line.
